I agree with Jerry and Don (I have the feeling that we all do). If someone writes a package that can be installed using APM it can use any licensing, I would of course suggest to use GPL, but that is up to the client.
If we all agree on this, why don't we write something in the FAQ, explaining this copyright criteria? It is certainly a :Frequently asked question"
