See, if this was open source someone would have
read the source code and seen the problem before it was
released. Oh, wait....
From what I can gather there seems to be some friction
between Alan Cox and Linus on what's being allowed in the
stable kernel. Alan seems to feel that Linus is allowing
potentially unstable things in. Maybe so.
