Just to frame this discussion a little better.
To be successful, a brand name should:
- be distinctive
- be easy to pronounce, recognize, recall, and store in memory
- suggest something about the project's benefits
- suggest the attributes of the project
- avoid misleading, nontranslatable, or potentially dysfunctional associations
If you can think of a name that scores highly on all these measures, it will probably be decent.
