It can be time consuming to learn installation and configuration of Aolserver and OpenACS. I just threw in a weekend to come up with a small-effort configuration system for Aolserver.
The average user/administrator will only have to specify few parameters in one small configuration file, to get: Virtual Hosting, Database configuration suitable for OpenACS, SSL-Support, and some more goodies.
Actually the configuration is developed under Debian, and combines smoothly with the aolserver4 packages provided by this system.
