Are there any production sites running ACS 4.0? or in other words,
what are you guys developing your new sites with ACS 3.x or ACS 4?

We have a couple of things in development that will become productions systems.

and we are using OpenACS 4

I'm happy enough that it is stable for our purposes.

http://www.deseretbook.com/ is the largest production ACS 4.0 production I'm aware of. Michael, Louis and their team kick some serious butt in that site. They plan to move to OpenACS.

deseretbooks may be the largest, but laschools.org is probably just as big.

furfly developed nybooks.com and granta.com using Classic ACS 4.0 (upgraded to 4.2 now).  We'll probably convert them to OpenACS before their Oracle license expires.
