Forum OpenACS Development: Good code examples?

I'm a newbie working on an OpenACS 4 project.  I've been able to
decipher enough from the existing documentation and code to make a
good start, but I frequently run across things that are puzzling.  For
the most part I have been able to figure out what's going on by
reading through the source for existing packages.

I notice that the documentation varies quite a bit from package to
package, and there are a number that are filled with comments to the
effect that significant fixes need to happen in the near future.  What
I'm wondering is, are there any particular packages that people
recommend as model packages for learning the ins and outs of OACS?

Notes was a good starting point given all the explanations in the
developers' guide (though unfortunately the PostgreSQL version is
broken in the alpha 2 release); apart from that I've been poking
around at random.  Where are other good places to look?

Check out the edit-this-page package. It is well designed and uses the content repository well. It is also a good example of a package that can be easily extended.
