A lot of mystery has gone out of some of the recent reports of the
instability and lousy performance of the newer OpenACS 4 tarballs.
They're not getting built :(
They appear to be built but the version that you get is ancient, a
couple of months old. In particular I tried downloading the tarball
from two nights ago yesterday and it still has the varchar-style
(non-index using) tree sortkeys in the PG version.
OUCH. I don't have time to look into this at the moment (Roberto,
Ben, Dan, do any of you?) so ... GRAB YOUR SOURCES FROM CVS FOR NOW.

great degree, among other things, since he was updating from the
nightly tarballs.
