I don't mind OpenACS, but I think a lot of the conversation we were having on the naming thread is still pretty valid. If we decide to keep that, I think we should make up a pronunciation. For example:
  • OpenACS = "open ax"
  • OpenACS = "open X"
  • OACS = "ox"
  • OACS = "oaks"
  • OACS = "oasis"
  • OACSup = "wassup"
  • OACSyurprob = "what's your problem?"
