Forum .LRN Q&A: new dotLRN users community

Collapse
Posted by Rafael Calvo on
Hi everyone
A new community has been created for dotLRN users: academics researchers... people interested in student centered, blended (or fully online) education, using any of the dotLRN tools: the course management system, the Learning object repository, electronic portfolios, etc.

This is the place to raise your voice about usability and 'learnability' issues. How can we make a more user centric system.

Please register at www.dotlrn.org and then join the community by going to:
http://www.dotlrn.org/dotlrn/manage-memberships

If you know people who might be interested please let them know about this

cheers

Rafael

I think you could get more participation if there were a link on the dotlrn.org home page to the community and an easier process to get there. Perhaps even list recent posts on the home page, and look into RSS feeds for the forum. This could provide greater visibility to the actual learning uses of .LRN.

Yes, I will advertise it through news and so on... need the time.

I have asked Carl to see how to make all registered users part of this community. That way people will not to register themselves.
