Is it intended or (hopefully) implemented that a student gets a notification when the tutor uploads files? At the moment I (as a tutor) have to write an email to all students to ask them to check the files.

Please upgrade to .LRN 2.1.1. File Storage in this version has the option to "subscribe to this folder". Sadly, at the moment there is no option to force students to subscribe to a folder like you can force them to subscribe to a forum.

actually the only thing need to be done for each package that needs this, is to enable this feature with a simple link.
