"Enterpise Class" software is simpily software that is designed and is fit for large enterpise (IMO). for example: MySQL traditionaly wouldn't be enterprise class software, and Oracle traditionaly is, becuase it is suited to the needs of large enterprise. Anything other meaning of "Enterpise Software" was probably gained through the combined misconception of the term by both marketers and marketees.
