Forum OpenACS Q&A: .LRN and OpenACS

Hello, I already have OpenACS installed and running and would like to install the new .LRN as well to evaluate it. How do I do that? Can they both be in the same machine under the same domain name?

Thanks!

Setup two AOLserver instances running on different IP addresses or ports with two seperate databases. This is the easiest way to get it running.

You can run them off the same code base if you want to just try it out. You just need a seperate config.tcl file for AOLserver that points to the right database and IP address/port.

Can I do virtual hosting with this so I don't have to have two instances of aol running? The thing is that I wanted to do:
openacs.mydomain.com and
lrn.mydomain.com

Thanks!
Luis
