OCT Meeting Minutes 2009-09-16

Attending: Don, Emmanuelle, Victor, Stefan, Michael, Hector

1. win32-openacs: Don will check with Maurizo to make sure there's no license violation involved.

2. Following yesterday's discussion at Honchos, it's been decided to have both OCT and Honchos on the same day, every wednesday. OCT will continue to meet at 9 AM, Honchos immediately afterwards, with a goal of completing both meetings in one hour.

3. Final configuration of the translation server should be completed by the end of the week. Victor will post an announcement when the work is completed.

4. A brief discussion regarding the Costa Rica conference took place (brainstorming ideas for presentations, etc).

Update to item #1:

The concern was that Maurizo distributes a slightly modified version of AOLserver, which is dual-licensed under the GPL and a variant of the Mozilla license, both of which require that source to modifications be included in distributions.

Win32-OpenACS includes full sources to AOLserver 4.5.1 and Maurizo's very minor modifications, along with make and config files and information on building everything on Win32.
