In order to clarify the distinction between the Classic ACS
architecture and the version modified to be compatible with Oracle 9i,
we decided to re-brand the latter as
MACS. I
put up our latest version as
4.3.0b
since I realized there still may be a few kinks along the way of
getting it to work right on 9i. Our module page will soon be set up
to support packages under different architectures, starting with ACS 4
and MACS 4, eventually OpenACS 4, possibly ACS 3 and OpenACS 3, and
hopefully some day OpenACS 5. 😊
