Forum OpenACS Q&A: How i change the email of System Owner

Hey... another question

I have installed Openacs 4.0 with AOLServer 3.2 and Linux RedHat 7.2

I am using the option "Reset password for sent user" (with
sendmail).  When i try that OpenACS generate the new password and
sent it, the maillog file show this message:

Feb 27 00:25:09 maga sendmail[657]: g1R5P9E00657: ruleset=check_mail,
arg1=<System Owner>, relay
=[200.75.214.128], reject=501 5.5.4 <System Owner>... Domain name
required for sender address Sy
stem.Owner
Feb 27 00:25:09 maga sendmail[657]: g1R5P9E00657: from=<System
Owner>, size=0, class=0, nrcpts=0
, proto=SMTP, daemon=MTA, relay=[200.75.214.128]

How change the email of System Owner for that OpenACS use one account
valid of my sendmail? or what i have to configure in OpenCS for sent
email?

Thanks for all

The SystemOwner is a parameter of ACS kernel. Visit the site map of your server where you'll find a list of configurable services. Click on [set parameters] next to ACS kernel then change the section to system-information where you can enter a new value for system owner.
