"I shall not keep you long,..."

I have written this message for three Purposes! "First of all to tell you that I am immensely fond of you all, and that eleventy-one years is too short a time to live among such excellent and admirrable hobbits...I don't know half of you half as well as I should like; and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve."

"Secondly, to celebrate our upcoming beta..."

"Third and finally, I wish to make an ANNOUNCEMENT. I regret to announce that-though, as I said, eleventy-one years is far too short a time to spend among you--this is the END. I am going. I am leaving NOW. GOOD BYE!"

Well that seems very sad. Maybe a Hollywood writer can resurrect you in the future by some magic. SO when is the beta going to be released, and btw, does ETP work, my index page is including a partialquery of 1=1 without an 'and'? Ciao, and Party on!

Certainly we'll miss Neophytos and hopefully he'll decide to rejoin us someday.  The sooner the better.  But it sounds like his interests lie elsewhere these days.

Roberto's e-mailed me to tell me he's committing the simple, last-minute doc changes today that resulted from our name and version decisions.

ETP doesn't work?  I plan to do some quick testing of stuff with an eye towards releasing a tarball on Monday or Tuesday but this is the first I've heard of ETP being broken.

I just looked at the "1 = 1" query and it's used in a WHERE clause with no other expressions.  However "-limit" doesn't work for Oracle (but it is unused in ETP thus far).

Here is the error I see when loading /etp/. With the etp package mounted there:
