Before this gets lost: We will explore ways to integrate the Jabber Module for AOLserver into ACS and OpenACS. Once our developers are back from skiing in the alps we will start a thread in the OpenACS Design BBoard discussing ways for integration and implement them in both OpenACS 4.5 and ACS 3.5. One objective will be to have groupchats which originated within a community (aka group, aka class) searchable accessible and searchable for members of this group (at least).
