Hi

I've asked this in the openacs forum but since I got no reply... I am trying here
Did anyone keep a copy of the Windows installer? the documentation and installer where in a Page hosted by Vlassis that is not there any more.

I know he isn't liked much by the community, *but* Frank Bergmann (Project/Open) is maintaining a Windows Installer that is able to "just" install OpenACS (to my knowledge). The best thing to do is to ask him to continue with this and hopefully provide a pre installed .LRN windows installer.

I must say that they are doing a great job documenting the installation process, maturity of the OpenACS packages and so forth

We should probably have that link in openacs.org home page

If you still need it, I have find the installer on my hard disk (in the backup files of windows). I thought I deleted it, but windows made a backup of it.

I will put it on a ftp server tomorrow, I have a slow connection here ...

Hi,

I've kept a build of Vlassis' port for Windows, and can upload this if you like - I think it differs a fair bit from Project-open but I have worked with it without error :)
