Anyone know what happened to http://remindme.arsdigita.com and if
someone is hosting it elsewhere?

Many of the services that aD was running for free seemed to disappear if the machine ran into trouble.  I haven't heard of anybody running it else where.

There is a free services bulletin board on Ars Digita (http://www.arsdigita.com/bboard/q-and-a?topic%5fid=1615&topic=Free%20Services%20on%20the%20Internet)

There is a thread http://www.arsdigita.com/bboard/q-and-a-fetch-msg?msg%5fid=000i8e&topic%5fid=1615&topic=Free%20Services%20on%20the%20Internet (finding reminder services) in that board. In another Jason mentions http://remindme.omnilogic.net/.

Red Hats presscenter document only talks about the continuation of public resources, not public services.
