the main reason I see is
- that it would allow developer to decide how they want to code. I personally prefer object-orientation.
- several great stuff developed in Vienna would find their way to HEAD like
- throttle check for limiting access for IP addresses when users use download managers
- server benchmark to compare different installations of OpenACS and dotLRN
- and many more
