I've got a big number of dotlrn-communities with file-storage and project-manager mounted on each. I now have two problems:

a) I granted someone the read+write permission on a filestorage-folder

b) I assigned someone as watcher to a project or project task.

I now want them to use the application (filestorage / project manager) without having to add them to the dotlrn-community. So how can i disable membership and permission checking of communities?

Has noone done this before? I got asked by two more clients about this and I thought this is something done on a regular basis. Or did we do something wrong when giving of the permission and it should work in the first place?
