Forum OpenACS Q&A: Response to Windows, AOLServer, and OACS

You may want to consider getting mod_aolserver to work with Apache 2.0/Win32.  I would think that there would be less AOLServer to maintain if you were able to delegate web serving to Apache,  and it might be a more realistic longterm goal to deliver OpenACS that way.

I don't have any experience with mod_aolserver,  but I think Petru (who's doing some work on it?)  might be able to confirm or deny that combo as a possibility,  and gauge the effort required.

Also,  FWIW,  I am now uploading the Oasis VM v4.5 with beta code as of two weeks ago.  Sorry for the delay.
