I don't have OpenACS 4.5 up on a box at the moment and was wondering
if anyone has a publicly available site with wimpy point lite
installed where I could poke around. Or if someone could highlight
the differences as compared to the ACS 3.4.10 version.
I have submitted a feature request to the SDM but my company would be
willing to pay for development. Basically we want the 3.4.10 feature
set with the addition of being able to version individual slides. The
new version needs to have a link to previous versions and we need the
ability to leave the comments attached to the old version or bring
them forward to the new version.
On a seperate track we would like to be able to give a presentation
over the internet. No audio or anything, just drive the presentation
from the "show presentation with comments and edit links" interface
and be able to have the presentation available at a seperate URL.
Is there a process in place for companies or individuals to pay for
feature requests or should we just contact the OpenACS companies
directly. Thanks
