I remember reading about someone who wanted to actually write a real-
life object scheduling service, much like the one which was/is used
in the ACS Problem Sets (concerning room reservation).

Has a package been writtten? Is it in the CVS (I might have missed
it -- sorry)? Or is there a need for a generel package for this
purpose?

In that case I might actually consider scalability in my code!

Thank you Stephen,

You really done a lot of thinking; we're still trying to secure the order of the booking system, but I'll certainly use your scheme once we do get it 😉...
