I have a similar question, with 3.2.5. How does one allow a user to approve news items, again without making them the site-wide admin. I suspect I could do something ugly to hack the tcl involved, but I don't understand ad-scope well enough not to screw it up in the process. Is there a straight-forward way to do this?
(I want this user to be able to approve all public news, not just group news.)
