I have $debug set to false in the start up file but I am still
getting huge amounts of debugging information. How can I turn it off?

are you setting it to false in the ns/parameters section?

Yes I set it up in the ns/parameters section. Any other ideas?

I had read somewhere that there was a bug related to this but had been fixed... couldn't find anything in the bboard
