Simon is absolutely right that we will need bleeding edge sooner or later, but I think that we should focus on getting out a solid, scalable, almost bugfree version that offers maximum functionality and ease of use first.

I don't know how we will manage this, but we should have detailed information on package/core development:

- What has to be done (bug fixing, enhancements, new features, database support)?
- Who is doing what at the moment?
- Who wants to do what in the future (until when)?
- A ranking of packages. Which package is mostly done + a reference package and which package still needs a lot of work? Which packages will be abandoned (+why/when)?
