I would like to make the object model more streamlined, no doubt about that. But I think the basic idea is sound. You go on to say that the strength is the object model so ... are you suggesting we move away from pushing so much into PL/SQL perhaps? Moving more of the API into the Tcl layer would lead to more shared queries and dml statements, no doubt of that.
Could you clarify your comment just a bit?
