I am searching for a file upload progress script that shows you the remaining time the server needs to upload a file. Does anyone have a working OACS implementation for that?

I recently came across some AJAX file uploaders, but until now didn't take a deeper look at them:

Not to my knowledge, but do us a favour and integrate the one you like best to OpenACS :)
