I just registered dotfolio.net, and was thinking of hosting a dotfolio site for users there. The demo and project pages will remain at dotfolio.org.
I was wondering if openacs members would like to have their own dotfolio site? The site will include file-storage, a blog, photo album, and a resume builder.
There are a number of reasons for such a site. Firstly, it will allow people to use dotfolio and associated openacs applications. Secondly, it will expose more people to openacs/dotfolio. Finally, it will help with the development and progression of dotfolio as an open source e-portfolio system.
If people are interested, I will have to start thinking about hosting and costs of running such a site.
