Subject says it all really.

Have to deliver a new OpenACS instance and am going to use 5.2

Has anybody deployed against postgres 8.1. The compatibility matrix shows no dramas with 8.0 but the new features of 8.1 don't look like they would break anything and things like autovaccum and automatic bitmap index conversion look nice along with optimisations to aggregate functions.

If this is a no-no could someone let me know??

Ok, thanks for that info that is good to know.

I assume 8.05 will be a-ok then given that 8.0 has the green OK box in the compatability matrix
