I set up PGAdmin III on my pc and am connecting to a remote Sun (Sunos 5.10) server running OpenACS 5.2 and PostgreSQL 7.4.7. In the postgresql.conf file I set tcpip_socket = true and port = 5432 and restarted the database. I can get at the database with PGAdmin, but I get a database error when I try to connect to OpenACS from the website. If I comment out the port = 5432 I can access OpenACS from the web just fine, but I can't access the database with PGAdmin since it is not listening on that port anymore.
Is there a way to make both work at the same time?
