For some reason I am unable to see the Group Administration Portlet within the control panel of the communities pages or any other.

This is on a standard installation of LRN 2.1.3 with no other packages installed. Shouldn't a user with SWA, dotlrn-admin priviledges be able to see the group admin links in the control panel?

is it the case that when I create communities I am not automatically the community admin? thus I am unable to see the links to rename, archive and manage applets?

any suggestions to help check what is wrong short of installing .LRN again?
