Hi Alberto,

You can find more info about user-tracking in the next thread:

http://www.openacs.org/forums/message-view?message_id=341098

There's a link to a pdf document in which you can see how you can solve some common problems with the installation of the package

David

Hi David,

Thank you for your answer. It really helped.
Now the user-trackig package is working fine. The only "problem" is that i have type the direct url (http://server:8000/user-tracking) to access atatistics, because i can't find any menu to access this page. Perphaps something was missing in the the installation.

Regards, Alberto.

Hi again,

Have you already installed the packages: dotlrn-user-tracking and user-tracking-portlet?

Regards,

David

Hi David,

No, i don't.
Where are those packages?
i installed the package from:

* Main Site »
* Site-Wide Administration »
* Install Software

and -> install from repository.

When the list of available packages appears, i can't find those packages you are talking about. I guess i have to download them manually. is'n it?

Where can i find those packages?

Regards, alberto.

Since they are services, once you have selected "install from repository" you should click in the

Type-->Service option

Then you should see the two packages:

dotLRN UserTracking Management Applet 0.1d2
UserTracking Portlet 0.1d2

Hope it helps. Regards,

David

No, i can't see any of the two services in the list. i've been looking for them in "services" and in "application" type. is it possible to download and install them manually? Regards, Alberto.
Hi Alberto:

You can install the dotlrn-user-tracking manually by the cvs:

cvs -d :pserver:mailto:anonymous@cvs.openacs.org/cvsroot co -r oacs-5-2 dotlrn-user-tracking
