You need to narrow down what the problem is. Can the site send email at all?

Yes i can sent email, for example: I used bulk email pkg to send an email to myself and it worked fine.

I believe the problem is on the assessment. the registration process was created as an assessment.

But what do you need i define clearly. I don't have too much on this. How or where can i find details about this issue?

another thing...
when the user register, the admin (me) receive an email. But the user doesn;t receive the email with the password.

Now we have another proof that the email is working and there is something wrong on the assessment.
