Forum OpenACS Development: Updated HTML Widget (Cross Browser Rich Text Editor)

There is a newer version of "Cross Browser Rich Text Editor"
that is part of acs-templating

/packages/acs-templating/www/resources/rte/richtext.js

The new code is dated Jan 13, 2006
(previous was Mar 4, 2005)

and a DEMO of multipe widgets on one page:

It has some compelling new features. Including
the ability to paste naughty MS Word text into
the form and make it clean.

This newer version of Kevin Roth's work
was updated by a number of authors.

AND the parameters for the function
writeRichText changed.

The OACS file that needs to be updated is

/home/pi/openacs/packages/acs-templating/tcl/richtext-procs.tcl

(The only place I found writeRichText.)

Is anyone on OpenACS willing to make this change,
test and make it part of OACS?
