How does one delete a class? I tried to delete it by archiving the group under Group Administration. That appeared to have deleted it but, it was still there in the site map. I tried to delete by unmounting everything and then deleting it but that eventually bombed out when I hit calendar, dotlrn-homework, faq, and file storage.
I noticed I could delete a subject, which contained classes, so I tried to delete the subject. It, of course, bombed with the rather polite message:

Error: A Subject must have no Classes to be deleted
Please back up using your browser, correct the above , and resubmit your entry.
