OpenACS 5.8.0b1 is available as tar file for download https://openacs.org/projects/openacs/download/one-revision?revision_id=4079447

The release contains (as always) just openacs-core, but it is at a level, where one can use "install from repository" to install e.g. xowiki and all required components. The final release will contain a summary of the changes.

Dear all,

OpenACS 5.8.0b2 is available for download from https://openacs.org/projects/openacs/download/download/openacs-5.8.0b2.tar.gz?revision_id=4080859

This version was tested with AOLServer 4.5.2 and the latest NaviServer. Much code was changed from deprecated calls (often deprecated since many years) into the recommended API.
