How can I remove them? Where should I go? Do I just unmount them on the site map and then delete them? (I'm afraid of doing so cause a while ago while playign with openACS, I accidentally created a problem with the database by deleting something in the wrong order or in the wrong place).

once a class is created, you cannot delete it by UI. And while a class is associated to a subject, the subject cannot be deleted, the same applies to depts.
