I always liked the TestPlant works. Unfortunately is proprietary with some open-source components, so I never got around to using it. Because it runs tests through a VNC connection, it would seem its much better at testing what the user actually sees vs. the DOM structure they get.

Hmmm, my bad, there are no open source components in TestPlant / EggPlant. It has a freely distributed VNC server and client for the Mac. It is still a pretty innovative tool for testing though. Looks like they added some even more innovative load/performance test-generating capabilities since I looked at it last...

This sounds interesting.

I am more looking for shell scripts to make sure all the steps to checkout the latest version and push changes to a production server in a reliable way, right now.
