Forum OpenACS Q&A: Server not running - problems with using port 80

So I'm trying to figure out how to use port 80. I modified all the appropriate values and files in the instructions but now I'm getting a message related to the error log. I tried changing permissions, but it doesn't seem to fix the problem. PLEASE HELP! This is the error message:

never mind! I changed the permissions now, and that part worked. However,I have another error:

Error: modload: init /usr/local/aolserver/bin/nslog.so of Ns_ModuleInit returned: -1

Fatal: modload: failed to load module '/usr/local/aolserver/bin/nslog.so'

um, you know what...whoever is the moderator and can go ahead and delete this thread. those above errors were solved and I have new errors...I'll make a new thread for those.
You can just leave the threat as it is as maybe another people might find it useful, maybe another person might find the same problem as yours and they might wanna try it for a solutions
