Forum OpenACS Development: closing bugs

Currently, we have 438 bugs resolved, but not yet closed. I believe that many bug-submitters are not aware that they have to close the bugs themselves, once they are resolved. I think we should document the bug-fixing workflow more dominantly.

How about bugging the bug-submitters by sending them e.g. once a month an email asking the close their bugs... or another option, making something like a personal portal page in xowiki, where a user sees the work items from the tracker assigned to him, maybe using some includelets from https://openacs.org/xowiki/pages/en/demo-includelets.

Sending emails is the most easy step I think, but a portalpage in xowiki will be better, although we always have to send emails.
