I am trying to access http://eye.openacs.org/viewrep/OpenACS from the www.openacs.org home page for the last couple of days, but my browser reports that the site is unreachable.

Is there a problem with this site?

I shut this down awhile back -- it was consuming all the resources on the machine and interfering with Don's work in CVS.

I've made some changes to the machine since -- when you start it back up keep an eye on it (no pun intended) to make sure it behaves.

I guess is related to the tarball facility, I might disable it, or we should find another box for this...
I have some issues with java, any hints from your side?

eye.openacs.org is up.

I limited the tarball file size upto 60K (about .LRN files amount). Lets see if that helps. If anyone notices that eye is consuming too many resources, please let me know, so I can check.
