Forum OpenACS Q&A: Can't access without FULL url ...

Hi guys,
i've got a problem here,my system have an address(10.100.xxx.xxx) and
also a hostname (servername.company.edu.my)..where people can access
from internet & intranet using that hostname. but now, the system
couldn't be access with those address unless we specify the full path
of the page itself such as "http://10.100.xxx.xxx/pvt/home.tcl" but
the hostname is still un-accessible.
i've no idea about the dns or other networking protocol..can anyone
help me out :( ...

by the way does anybody know where/how can i know about the NSSOCK
thing.

so http://www.myserver.com doesn't work, but http://www.myserver.com/some-page.html does? sounds like your index page is screwed up. check the access and error logs.

what you mean by "index page screwed" ?..i still couldn't access other page as well (static or TCL pages) unless the full path being specified.

sorry guys..it was an internal network problem.
been solved.
