I seem to recall a portlet in ACES that aggregated links to all new
discussion board posts within a specified number of days. (It was
scoped to the level of the portal so, for example, the portlet at the
Class level would aggregate new posts for all discussion boards within
that class.) I thought this was one of the most useful features of the
whole system.

I don't see this portlet in dotLRN. Does it/will it exist?

This currently does not exist in dotLRN. One could add it either to the forums
portlet as is, or build an additional forums new posting portlet. Yes, it definitely
sounds useful! Anyone up for trying their hand at building a portlet?
