We should probably announce such changes so folks who know ad_parameter (or similar utilities) well enough to use them without looking at the code/api doc will know to switch.

Yet we probably don't want to clutter forums with posts for each and every such change.

Any ideas on how to more effectively communicate changes of this nature to our developer community at large?
