don: i was planning on announcing this but was waiting because i want to rename one of the procs, parameter::set_value, to parameter::set, but i can't yet because there is a bug in the AOLserver namespace code that does not let me do that.
That wasn't really my point, Yon, I was asking generally if anyone had an idea for making such announcements in a way that would be visible yet not clog the forums.
One could answer "finish setting up the CVS commit listserv" (which I hope someone finds time to do) but that's not a real answer, I've quickly learned to ignore most CVS updates because most of them don't contain fundamental API changes.
So I don't think that's the answers.
Lars's suggestion's an interesting one, maybe we should try it on the new website ...
