OK, lets say dotlrn requires 4.6 and 4.6 only supports PG 7.2.
Whatis the best way to have both 4.5 and 4.6 in the same machine?
We need to document this. In fact there is not documentation on 4.6 that I know of.
In another thread people was asking today about packages that were not proted from 3.2 to 4.5. Should we tell them that they will be ported to 4.6 instead?
I need to manage a large number of theses projects so I am trying to keep up with all that is happening, but often find it difficult anyway. If this happens to me what can we expect for the ocassional user/developer that the community needs to attract?
