Posting has temporarily been disabled on the main forums.
We will be using the data in this database so I didn't want test posts to clutter the bboards.
There is a "Test Forum" if you would like to test the functionality of the new forums package.
We have sped up the forums index pages considerably with Roberto's applicaton of template::paginator so it does not load over 2000 threads on the first page.
There is still an issue on viewing one thread that is slow.
If anyone has a chance to check the forums code on postgresql feel free to offer a patch to speed it up.

openacs.org-dev from the OpenACS CVS repository.
