Unless you have administration rights on the installation of dotlrn you are referring to Tim, you are at the mercy of whoever is running it. You are going to have to contact them directly (e.g. through email or some other means) and ask to be unbanned.
Thank you for your fast answer... the problem has been solved, there was a server error that has been solved.
So it's all good and I am able to sign in again.
